If you are not already familiar with this Indi Yarn Company, be prepared to have your hand knit socks blown off!!
Please let me introduce you to Joyce also known as The Flying Kettle.

How adorable is she first of all, second you are going to fall in love the her yarn themes and color ways.  She began TFK in 2010 doing only hand-dyed handspun, then reopened with hand-dyed millspun yarns in 2013.  Joyce comes from a fine arts background, MFA in Photography and taught college art for about 8 years.  I would have loved to taken one of her classes that's for sure!

She is always interested in exploring painting and dyeing yarn bases, more like painting canvases in the future.  Her necessary fuel for what she does: coffee, blueberry kefir, art books, solitude and jazz. Who would not want to spend a day in the dye shop with Joyce, I know I would.
Ok, enough from me.  We all know that you want to see some of her amazing art work on yarn!!
All her yarn bases are being named/branded after airships and flying machines, I love the creativity that goes into these names.  Look at the cute vintage tag that she has taken the time to attach to the skein, bonus points with that extra touch.

Glider By Starlight

Fingering / 4 ply
 438 yards/100 grams
75% Wool - 20% Nylon - 5% Metallic

This skein is appropriately named Bumble Rumble.  The depth of her color saturation is out of this world.  She takes such care to make sure that her colors are individual yet pallet wise, they all blend together exceptionally well. The low tones that take over the base colors are so stunning with just the right pop of gold.  Who could forget that dash of sparkle with the metallic in the fiber.

The fiber its self has a great twist and really has a squishable touch to it.  This would make the perfect...ANYTHING! I would knit anything and everything out of this yarn base.  So really, knowing that this is only one of her bases, you really should try any and all of them out for yourself.

Joyce is so creative and so kind hearted all of you should go and support her just because of how amazing her personality is.  Even though our conversation have been through email and PM, you all know when you just get a great feeling about a person by the care and time they take.
You will be so pleased with any of her yarns that if you were me, you should hop over to her Etsy site today and get a skein or two before she gets wiped out of her stunning yarns.

She also has a fun and active group over on Ravelry that you should take a look at and consider joining for all her updates.

Thank you again to Joyce for a Such an amazing Yarn!!!

Stephanie, I was introduced to your blog and ravelry group through the Ash Kearns review a couple of weeks ago. I love the weekly reviews. It's almost as fun as spending an afternoon handling the fiber at my LYS.
