Review (1 of 2)
Happy Monday Readers!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  Mine was a first, our daughter turned a year old.  It does not even seem possible but we are so proud of her.
This week we are featuring a yarn from Kismet fiber works.
"Kismet Fiber Works is a collaboration between Botetourt County residents, Angie LeNoir and Stephanie Stotts creating unique, beautiful hand dyed yarn for fiber artists. All yarn is dyed with specially formulated colors by Stephanie and Angie in their home studios, and the yarn is sourced from a local Virginia company. We honor the entire life of our yarn: from field, to fiber, to you the artisan."
~Stephanie & Angie~
The yarn blend that they are sharing with us this week is;

DK / 8 ply
 230 yards/100 grams
 US 6 - 7 or 4 - 4.5mm
50% Silk-50% Wool
I could not agree more with the description that was given to this yarn.
'A slinky, silky, sexy DK weight yarn that has amazing drape and sheen.'

I love the Colorway and the name, so clever!  It is the daintiest pink you will ever lay eyes on.  I could see this as an adorable knit for a baby girl or a person who loves powder pink.  Stunning!!!

Such detail and care come in all of the packaging and the preparation of this yarn.  The adorable ties with the ribbon to the beautiful graphics on the info card.
The yarn on its own is a stand alone yarn for me.  It has so many of the properties that you want in a warm and soft 50/50 combo.  It is snuggle soft to the skin and the slight halo that it gives off along with the shine of the silk is something to be desired.  They have several other blends and yarn weights that you should also take a look at too.  I know that this will be a winning DK yarn for any and all who get a chance to try this yarn out!
Kismet Fiber Works receive a 5 Needle Review Rating!
Thank you again Stephanie & Angie for sharing you artistic talent!!!
