Hello Readers I hope you all enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with your loved ones. This was a first for our little family, such a joy.
I am so excited to share with you my discovery of Fleece Cottage Yarns from the UK.  Hannah is the creator and designer behind this unique and adorable yarn company.  She has a passion for silk and if you are a silk lover, you are in for a treat!!
"I’m a bit of a silk addict and love lace knitting. I have far too many skeins and now I dye my own, the problem is only getting worse! My Fleece Cottage Yarns are mostly laceweight and sock yarns at the moment, and I love experimenting with beautiful jewel like colors and darker gothic shades. If you’re interested in a custom order, please pm me.
I’m a stay at home mum to two gorgeous children who I try and keep out of the dyepot…
I live in Fleece Cottage - it was fate!"

Sock Yarn

Fingering / 4 ply
437 yards /100 grams
75% Merino /25% Nylon

This is a fantastic all around fingering weight yarn.  I love how tremendous of a job she does with her tonal dying.  She has such a fantastic color sense and shading.  A good tonal has just the slightest variation in shades all wile staying in the same color range.  It can be very challenging to master, however Hannah has a great ability in her dying sense.

Take a look at this little bonus of a gem.  She has attached a 'Hand Made' stitch marker to each of her skeins.  Such a personal and extra touch that really separates her from others.  I love a commemorative stitch marker to remember a skein of my favorite yarn with.

Mulberry Silk

Fingering / 4 ply
219 /50 grams
100% Silk
"A delight to work with - soft handle, even twist and shimmering color. This pure silk 4ply/fingering yarn is best suited to extra special projects like scarves, shawls and fine garments." Hannah

Such a smooth touch and a radiance of shine, add color and you have a 'Special Project Skein' for sure.  I love having a skein like this on hand for those really unique or special items that you find and just need to cast on right that moment.  You will love knitting with this yarn as much as you will picking out what color you are going to purchase.  Hannah again has a great sense of color and does a great job with her yarns.
